Traits and mutations answer different questions

Trait Rerolls are one of the rewards distributed through Anime Dice codes. They give you a resource for changing a character’s trait. Mutations are part of the rare character collection described by the developer. A reward named Trait Reroll should not be treated as proof that it also changes a mutation.

When inspecting a unit, read each label separately. A visual aura, size label, trait, grade, or colored name may describe a different part of that unit. The most useful comparison is the effect shown on the actual panel, not an assumed multiplier based on its appearance.

Give your rerolls a stopping rule

Choose a unit first and decide what improvement would be enough. A trait that helps the task you are doing can be a useful stopping point even when a rarer outcome exists. Continuing without a target makes it easy to consume the entire supply while solving no new problem.

For an early unit that is replaced often, saving rerolls is a reasonable strategy. For a stable team member, compare the existing trait with the options displayed by the current menu. Read any warning about replacing the current result before confirming.

1. Pick a unit you expect to keep using.
2. Read the current trait and the reroll cost.
3. Decide which effects would improve your present goal.
4. Set a maximum number of attempts before starting.
5. Reassess after each result instead of clicking through automatically.

Keep a separate note for variants

Before selling a character with a special appearance or label, compare it with your existing copies. A variant may matter to your collection even when another unit earns more. Do not rely on Equip Best to express every personal collecting preference.

In the tracker, use the variant checkbox to remember which entries have a special copy. You can also include the exact variant in the name when you want separate wishlist and owned entries. This records your goal without assigning an unsupported effect to the variant.

How to read an effect claim

Look for the exact effect text, the version of the game, and the conditions under which the number was measured. “Better Luck” and “higher income” describe different benefits. A unit can have one without the other.

If two screenshots disagree, compare upgrades, boosts, and the account’s Cash or Luck multiplier before assuming a balance change. Use the current in-game panel for the final decision. The same habit also prevents spending on a trait based only on another player’s promotional image.
