Anime Dice upgrades: what to buy first
Choose upgrades around your current bottleneck: income, Luck, storage, or Tower combat.
For a rolling-focused run, start with Money and Luck. Add Roll Speed and storage when they solve a real interruption. Move Damage and Health forward when you are actively working on a Tower.
Upgrade priority by player goal
A useful upgrade changes what you can do in the next session. If the next dice feels unaffordable, more income makes the wait shorter. If your income is comfortable but your team rarely improves, compare the next Luck node with a dice purchase. The order below is our practical reading of the progression loop, not an official ranking.
| Your goal | Look at first | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Earn toward a dice | Money, then Luck | Time saved versus cash spent |
| Get more pulls per session | Roll Speed | How much time you actually spend rolling |
| Stop inventory interruptions | Unit Storage | How often a full backpack stops you |
| Clear Tower floors | Damage and Health | Which part of the fight causes your loss |
| Make routine movement easier | Walkspeed | Convenience versus a permanent upgrade goal |
| Sell spare units | Sell upgrades | Sale income versus your normal team income |
Read the tree before spending
The gameplay guide shows several numbered branches rather than one universal upgrade button. Follow the prerequisite path to the node you want. A cheap purchase is not efficient if it sends your cash down a branch you are not using.
The recorded tree includes Luck I–VI, Money I–VI, Roll Speed I–II, Unit Storage I–IV, Sell I–III, Walkspeed I–III, Damage I–V, and Health I–V. Treat the current in-game menu as the final word on availability and price after an update.

Buy a dice or another upgrade node?
Compare an immediate, affordable dice purchase with the next useful node. Storm, for example, is listed at $200M and 400× Luck; Shadow is $1.5B and 750×. Buying several small upgrades can delay that purchase even when each upgrade feels inexpensive.
Use a cash reserve for your next milestone. If you have $800M saved for Shadow, your remaining gap is $700M before other purchases. Spend $100M elsewhere and the gap becomes $800M. The progression calculator makes that trade visible without pretending to predict your next character.
A quick spending routine
If a purchase does not change your immediate plan, leave the cash unspent for the moment. Saving is a useful option when you are close to an important threshold.
- Collect the cash already waiting at your base.
- Check the price of the next dice and your current income.
- Choose one branch that helps the activity you are doing now.
- Review your equipped units before clearing spare inventory.
- Recheck the milestone after buying, rather than clicking through the tree automatically.
